Pink Leather Skirt Three Ways

October 29, 2018

I bought this blush pink pleather skirt last fall from St. Laurent  for work and am so glad Dynamite  brought back a similar version this year.  Leather/Pleather is a trend I absolutely love for fall/winter seasons…and to have anything in blush pink is a must for me.I love how feminine the light pink color is but also love the edge that leather brings to an outfit.  Here are three ways I’ve styled this skirt.

Work Wear

I did wear this to work last year….and since it maybe a bit short for some….the best way to get around wearing sorter skirts is by adding opaque tights/nylons. Because I’m only 5”3 skirts tend to fall a little longer on me then some so I opted for no tights.  In this look I paired it with this floral blouse I also bought at Dynamite last season.  But Le Chateau has almost the identical one that would create the same look.  You could also opt for  plain blouse in white, cream or black or something fun like polka dots or a blouse with a neck tie or pretty bow.

Love the look of a chunky oversized sweater and a skirt.  This is one of my favourite ways to wear this skirt this season.  This cream sweater from Dynamite is so cozy and soft I’ll definitely be living in it all winter.  I love that it also has slits along the side making it super easy to tuck in the front part of the seater while leaving the back hang out and not feel bulky.  I would also wear this look with nice knee high socks and boots.

Date Night

I love going all out for date night…and in this look I wanted to off how the skirt can also be sexy.  I paired it with this black bodysuit also from Dynamite which I also love to pair with jeans.  It such a comfortable body suit and love the fact that it has buttons to make things easier when heading to the washroom.  I also love the mesh panel that shows your cleavage but doesn’t make it too much in your face…its more subtle.  I added my over the knee black suede boots but you could easily also do a black pump or bootie.
